Online Premiere of Weave In

Upcoming Premiere of Grieg Lyric Pieces Orchestration

On October 22, 2021, conductor Aik Khai Pung and the CCM Concert Orchestra will premiere Aaron Travers’ orchestration of Edvard Grieg’s Lyric Pieces, op. 43.  The piece will be featured alongside Grieg’s Piano Concerto and Sibelius’ Third Symphony.  Time and venue will be announced shortly.

Aaron Travers commissioned by Library of Congress

New tango-inspired works

Aaron Travers recently completed two new tango-inspired works:  Weave In for amateur choir, bandoneon and piano; and Gato Selvaje for Suzuki strings, bandoneon and piano.  Performances are anticipated in Fall of 2020. In addition, a new video of his bandoneon/piano duo La Proxima Traicion was recently released.  A link to the video can be found here.
